Welcome to MP Trade Cars of Derby. My name is Mick Potter and I have gained extensive experience in all departments in the motor trade from the age of 15 (36 years). I first started out as a qualified technician(National Diploma in motor vehicle engineering), working for my father in the late 80’s within a main dealer for new and used cars in Burton on Trent.

I then ran a successful mobile car technician business for 9 years before going back into car retail with work partners. Although successful in every business, I became discouraged with having to pay the high costs of renting business premises and rates. I decided to go alone and put my vast experience into FULLY retailing cars from home with minimal overheads.
